Mission Statement

Education: To provide the best possible education in order to create leaders in engineering. Be a leading lab in fields of smart systems, sensors, smart grids, alternative and renewable energy.

Research: Find and develop new systems to reduce dependency on non-renewable energy and promote sustainable and renewable energy technology.

Collaboration: Promote community involvement and create a bridge between the Texas State University community and high schools.   

Vision

Create a research institute with focus on sustainable and green systems.

Build a research “smart house” to develop concepts in sustainable systems.

Build a research manufacturing facility to develop concepts in sustainable manufacturing.
